    Greek features of Gandhara art:
1.Buddha’s wavy hair, draperies covering both the shoulders, footwear.
2.Buddha under the projection of Greek God Herakles & Buddha’s mythological like statue.
3.Gandhara coins depict Greek script and divinity.

    Roman features of Gandhara art:
1.Buddha with youthful Apollo like face dressed in garments resembling those seen on Roman imperial statues.
2.Realistic sculpture of Buddha is associated with Romans.
3Gandhara sculpture incorporated many motifs and techniques from classical Roman art as seen from vine scrolls, cherubs bearing garlands,
    tritons and centaurs.
4.Standing Buddha at Mardan is similar to Roman emperor statues.

Thus it is justified that Gandhara sculpture owed as much to the Romans as to the Greeks.
