Q1. It is often said that poverty leads to corruption. However, there is no dearth of instances where affluent and powerful people indulge in corruption in a big way. What are the basic causes of corruption among people? Support your answer with examples.

    Poverty,undoubtedly, leads to corruption. However, it can not be termed as the root cause of the issue. History is crawl with a number of incidents where wealthy and powerful people found culprit. 2G scam,Commonwealth scam, Vyapam cozenage are few example of that.

    1. Lack of values : Poverty somewhere somehow only works as a catalyst in the context when the ethical and moral values are missing in persona of people.

    2. Edacity : Once lushness becomes priority of people, it often leads to habitual rapaciousness when they try to get money irrespective of its source, whether it is legal or not.

    3. Lack of courage among people to denounce corrupt behavior. Sometimes they even initiate to get their things done.

    4.Lack of transparency,Slow judicial process, Inefficient control and regulation, However, are not the originator of the problem but often proven subservient.
